Apple may suspend iPhone 12 soon due to the underwhelming sales response – says a report.

Apple may suspend iPhone 12 in the second half of 2021, due to extremely poor sales compared to the other models from apple. Apple’s latest model, iPhone 12 mini has got reviews stating that it is the slimmest and lightning-fast 5G smartphone available in the market.

In the latest report, Mr Yang from JP Morgan Chase had said that the demand for the iPhone 12 mini seems to be exceptionally low as the apple might stop the production of the mini by the second half of 2021. In case, if it is discontinued in the second half of 2021, then the iPhone 12 mini is the only smartphone from apple which was discontinued in a short time in Apple’s history.

This specific model was priced accordingly and lower than other variants in the apple series. Basically, the iPhone 12 mini was offered with a 5.4inch screen at a resolution of 2340X1080 pixels and a pixel density of about 476ppi. Also, it had a dual-camera setup with a 12Mp wide camera and ultra-wide sensor. It came with a 2227 mAh battery. Apple had improved the low-light performance in the iPhone 12 mini and the front-facing camera also came up with night mode. Mini is powered by A14 Bionic chip processor and available with 64GB, 128GB & 256GB storage variants.

Even, Apple is aiming to produce between 80 million to 90 million iPhone 13 series models. The expected model figure is much higher than 76 million scheduled earlier for the iPhone 12 series, which was launched back in October last year. The launch was delayed due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic. The festive quarter brought apple the highest volume for a vendor in a single quarter and which resulted in 23.4% market share and 22.2% growth.

And finally, we saw that Apple is ramping up their production of all models in India and Vietnam to end up their production in China. Then, the new iPhone 12 series will be produced in India by the second half of this year.
